Atlas Tube accepts award at the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards held at the WFCU Centre in Windsor, Ont. on April 13, 2011.
The Awards recognize the achievements of successful businesses and people in Windsor and Essex County and the contributions they make to the growth and prosperity of the economy. Atlas Tube is honored to be included in among the 2011 winners.
Bob Burger, Atlas Tube EcoPole Product Manager, gave the acceptance speech:
We all go about our daily work routines and are measured against internal or industry metrics. Recognition from outside your field and from your community is very special.
Excellence is a mindset that is rooted at the top of any organization. We are very fortunate at Atlas to have this foundation in our majority owners, the Zekelman family. Our current and future successes are the output of the vision and guidance of Barry, Alan and Clayton.
I am proud to accept this award on behalf of my colleagues. Atlas' success is the result of the hard work, dedication, teamwork and professionalism of 200 people employed at the Harrow plant, along with 350 people at our Plymouth, MI and Chicago locations.
